Research Interest

My research interests encompass a wide range of topics that hold great significance in today’s world. It spans a broad spectrum of disciplines, including politics, conflict studies, diplomacy, regional integration and global security. By exploring these diverse areas of inquiry, I am able to gain a comprehensive understanding of the complex forces that shape our world today. This includes:     

  • Ethiopian foreign policy and diplomacy;
  • Regional cooperation and integration;
  • Political dynamics of the Horn of Africa region;
  • Political dynamics and super powers rivalry in the Red Sea Region;
  • Hydro political dynamics of the Eastern Nile Basin;
  • Regional and global security issues; andInternational relations and diplomacy.
